Introducing the LIVETOUCH PALM: A Breakthrough in Mobile Palm Scanners in the U.S.

DERMALOG JENETRIC Unveils the LIVETOUCH PALM Scanner

Overview

During the annual conference of the International Association for Identification (IAI), which is happening from August 10 to 16 in Orlando, Florida, DERMALOG JENETRIC made a significant mark by presenting the LIVETOUCH PALM. This mobile palm scanner combines exceptional portability, robustness, and user-friendliness, making it a valuable tool for on-site biometric identification operations, especially in law enforcement contexts.

Design and Functionality

The LIVETOUCH PALM is remarkably compact and smaller than an industrial tablet. It enables the capture of both palm and fingerprint impressions outside of fixed stations, which is especially beneficial for fieldwork and mobile needs. Constructed with a sturdy metal casing that meets IP65 certification standards and featuring a scratch-resistant glass, this device is designed for dependable operation even in challenging environments.

One of its standout features is the user-friendly interface, enhanced by an integrated color display that guides the user through the capturing process. Combined with auditory feedback, this system provides an intuitive experience, significantly minimizing the chances of operational errors.

High-Quality Biometrics

This advanced scanner captures high-resolution palm and fingerprint images that comply with the international standard outlined in the FBI's EBTS Appendix F. In addition to capturing biometric data, the LIVETOUCH PALM is capable of digitizing electronic signatures and scanning identification documents such as passports and national ID cards.

A Statement from Leadership

Günther Mull, the CEO of DERMALOG JENETRIC GmbH, stated, “With the LIVETOUCH PALM, we are expanding our product range with a scanner that sets new benchmarks in quality, durability, and ease of use.
