Eleven Texas Students Shine at National Mott Million Dollar Challenge Finals
In an impressive display of ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit, eleven students from Texas have made it to the national finals of the
Mott Million Dollar Challenge. This prestigious competition, held in Flint, Michigan, invites K-12 students to pitch innovative business ideas and social solutions. The event, organized by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, aims to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Out of more than
5,300 submissions from across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., only
60 semifinalists were chosen, making these young Texan minds part of an elite group of aspiring innovators. The competition is set to take place in downtown Flint on
June 15-16, and each selected semifinalist will receive
$5,000 to support their ventures.

Funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation as part of its centennial celebrations, the Mott Million Dollar Challenge is administered in collaboration with several organizations, including the
Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and
VentureLab. The Challenge provides a unique opportunity for students to gain real-world business experience and foster their entrepreneurial pursuits.
