Gakken, a renowned company celebrating 60 years of its New Block brand, is inviting families to participate in a delightful two-day event titled Block Mania! Dream New Block World. This exciting occasion will take place at Aeon Mall Hiroshima Fuchu on September 14 and 15, 2025.

A Colorful Playground Awaits

At this special event, a massive pool filled with 20,000 colorful blocks will be set up for children to explore, play, and create. This immersive block playground is designed to provide hours of fun and inspiration for young minds eager to build and invent.

Enter the Block Pool

The entry to the block pool is free, but each session will be limited to 45 minutes to ensure that everyone gets a chance to play. Families can enjoy the tactile experience of working with various blocks and letting their imagination run wild in this gigantic play area, making it a perfect day for children and parents alike.

Design and Create

One of the highlights of the event will be the Gakken New Block Rolling Queue, a colossal roller coaster made from the New Block series. Participants will have the opportunity to roll balls along the track, watching their creations come to life in an exhilarating display of gravity and design. This activity promotes hands-on learning and creative thinking through play.

Exclusive Shopping Experience

During the event, there will also be a POPUP store featuring exclusive block pieces that cannot be found in Gakken's official online shop. In addition to the exclusive parts, Gakken will also be selling special items like the Gakken New Block All-Stars series, celebrating the brand’s rich history. Customers who make a purchase will receive a unique Ichibankun towel, produced in Imabari, while supplies last.
