Exploring Dual-Living Lifestyles: Insights from a New Survey Event for Young Women

YOMIKO, in collaboration with Shueisha's "MORE" editorial team, is set to host an engaging talk event on July 16, 2025, focusing on the dual-living lifestyle among young women in their 20s and 30s. This event aims to delve into the perspectives, needs, and challenges of dual-living, offering valuable insights for both individuals and organizations involved in community development.

The event, titled "From the Report on Dual-Living Lifestyles of Young Women: Key Target Insights and Five Tips to Engage," will take place at SHIBUYA QWS, located in the heart of Shibuya, Tokyo. Scheduled from 4 PM to 6 PM, with doors opening at 3:30 PM, the event will feature discussions led by prominent figures in the industry.

Event Highlights

The talk will be anchored by Takako Nakada, the chief editor of the MORE brand, alongside Minami Ozeki, the editor-in-chief of YOMIKO's CIVIC PRIDE® portal site. They will engage in a dialogue about the survey conducted in May 2025, which involved interviews and web-based questionnaires targeting the MORE Influencers community. The survey particularly focuses on the dual-living perspectives of women, shedding light on their values, needs, and awareness of the associated issues.

Additionally, the event will feature guests from the MORE Influencers, who are practicing the dual-living lifestyle. They will share their insights and experiences, discussing both the appealing aspects and the challenges of managing life in two locations.

This event is not only a platform for sharing valuable insights but also a way to visualize the values and challenges surrounding dual-living. The information gathered will be instrumental for municipalities and businesses engaged in urban development and regional revitalization efforts, as it highlights the preferences and challenges faced by younger demographics.
