Upcoming SDGs Japan General Meeting Event
On June 22, 2026, the general meeting event titled "Future of SDGs from Peace and Human Rights" will take place from 16:30 to 17:30. Organized by the SDGs Citizens' Society Network (commonly known as SDGs Japan), this hybrid event will be held at the Human Rights Library in Minato City, Tokyo, and will also be accessible online through Zoom.
With less than five years remaining until the 2030 deadline for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDGs Japan seeks to emphasize the foundational themes of "peace" and "human rights." This event will provide a platform for dialogue among members, featuring insights from several speakers actively engaged in promoting SDGs from various civil society organizations and among lawmakers from the National Diet of Japan.
Currently, SDGs Japan has 12 business units and 123 member organizations collaborating to amplify their efforts in advancing these goals. The event will not only engage existing members but will also welcome new participants who join the organization, showcasing an inclusive approach to collective action for sustainable development.
