Tiger Group Successfully Auctioned High-Precision Manufacturing Equipment from U.S. Plants
Tiger Group's Recent Auction Remarkably Efficient
Tiger Commercial & Industrial (C&I) has successfully wrapped up an impressive auction of high-precision fabrication and assembly equipment from two U.S. manufacturing plants. This online auction, which came to fruition on September 1, 2026, involved extensive planning and execution to respond to the dynamic needs of the manufacturing sector.
In conducting this auction, Tiger Group acted on behalf of secured creditors, featuring a compelling mix of machinery and equipment from the now-closed facilities of Auzmet, a well-known national manufacturer based in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas. Auzmet was recognized for its production of exterior building solutions including composite metal panels, architectural façades, and insulated wall panels. With the auction, Tiger Group demonstrated its capacity to efficiently monetize manufacturing assets under time constraints.
The sale showcased an extensive collection of high-quality equipment, including CNC routers, electro-mechanical plate shears, CNC folding machines, and smart routers from prominent brands like Miller, Lincoln Electric, FomIndustrie, Schechtl, and Schlebach. The auction featured 415 items, giving bidders access to a range of options including both equipment and raw materials, as well as finished products that were originally valued at over $1 million.
Furthermore, the auction optimized the assets available, including electrical and pneumatic equipment from partners like Kaesar and vehicles from Chevy and Mitsubishi, ensuring all aspects of the manufacturing operation were accounted for. The auction was notably managed by Tiger’s dedicated in-house team, who utilized their proprietary database to inform a strategic approach in reaching potential buyers, particularly focusing on those invested in composite manufacturing.
According to Jonathan Holiday, Senior Director of Tiger Commercial & Industrial, their extensive experience with aluminum fabrication equipment enabled a robust recovery for the secured creditors much faster than typical timelines associated with such asset sales. This success is attributed to both strategic marketing and efficient management of the inventory, leading to substantial gains for the creditors who were involved.
The organized effort to manage the sale and removal processes at both facilities was achieved within a tight 30-day timeframe—a feat that highlights Tiger Group’s operational prowess in the heavy manufacturing sector. The ability to quickly capitalize on acquired assets has cemented Tiger Group's reputation in the industry as a primary resource for equipment auctions of this nature.
With this auction successful, Tiger Group continues to assert its position in the market, setting a standard for prompt and effective handling of manufacturing asset sales. Future endeavors will likely maintain this level of efficiency, ensuring that both buyers and sellers in the sector can benefit substantially from Tiger's expertise and commitment to excellence in the auction process.
As trends in manufacturing evolve, Tiger Group remains at the forefront, adapting to the industry's needs and challenges, demonstrating a proactive approach that is vital in navigating the complexities of manufacturing and asset liquidation.
