Kyoto University MBA Course Featuring Helpfeel CEO
On March 21, 2026, the MBA program at Kyoto University will welcome Isshu Rakusai, CEO of Helpfeel, as a guest speaker for its course on entrepreneurship. This session marks the culmination of a significant series that has inspired generations of budding entrepreneurs.
Background of the Event
The entrepreneurship course at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Management, taught by part-time lecturer Yudai Matsumoto, has gained a reputation for excellence, having instructed over 200 students in 11 years and received a commendation for distinguished teaching from the university in 2022. In this final session, seven industry-leading entrepreneurs, including Rakusai, will participate in a relay discussion format about the essence and value of choosing entrepreneurship.
Rakusi will draw from his personal experience in founding Helpfeel, exploring the realities of business creation in the age of AI, the decision-making processes involved in pioneering uncharted markets, and the challenges within Japan’s entrepreneurial landscape from a global perspective gained during his recent trip to the United States.
