CRRC EV Unveils Groundbreaking Electric Buses at Bus World 2025

CRRC Electric Vehicle Breaks New Ground at Bus World 2025

On October 4, 2025, at the prestigious Bus World Europe 2025 in Brussels, CRRC Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CRRC EV), a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Ltd., unveiled two state-of-the-art fully electric buses alongside an advanced digital low-carbon urban transport system. This landmark introduction not only highlights CRRC EV's leading position in the realm of new energy transport systems but also aims to redefine urban mobility with smarter and more efficient solutions.

Innovative Electric Buses

The first standout is the premium intercity electric bus EU12C. This bus boasts an innovative 800-volt architecture, delivering peak power of 480 kW and an impressive torque of 5100 N•m, enabling it to conquer inclines over 30%. Its aerodynamic low-drag design ensures a remarkable range of up to 550 kilometers on a single charge, paired with super-fast charging to minimize downtime.

The second marvel, the dual-decker city bus ED12, is designed to accommodate up to 126 passengers. It notably achieves a range of 560 km under urban operating conditions. With a lightweight 6000 series aluminum alloy chassis, which is also utilized in high-speed trains, the ED12 promises an operational lifespan of 20 years. Importantly, it incorporates an advanced battery safety architecture consisting of ten levels of protection, ensuring passenger safety and reliability.

Revolutionary Urban Transport System

In parallel, CRRC EV presented its visionary Digital Intelligent Low-Carbon Urban Transit System. This comprehensive solution comprises several components:

Smart Cloud Brain

The Smart Cloud Brain (TOCC) is a centralized platform that integrates Big Data, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT). This innovative system enhances real-time decision-making capabilities for urban transit, making high-precision control a reality.

Urban Mobility as a Service (MaaS)

Urban MaaS prioritizes public transport through AI-based planning, on-demand ride bookings, and intelligent maintenance. This dual-tiered solution employs metro systems, smart rail transport, and buses as main modes of travel, supplemented by micro-shuttles for
