Fibocom's established foothold in the FWA sector was clearly exhibited through various customer devices presented at the event, supported by a portfolio that spans various technologies including 5G and 5G-Advanced modules, customer premises equipment (CPE), outdoor units (ODU), and MiFi solutions. These innovations underline Fibocom's dedication to delivering not only connectivity but also intelligent networking solutions designed for the future.

In a bid to push the boundaries of wireless broadband, Fibocom introduced its flagship FG390 5G-Advanced FWA module, which now adds capabilities to utilize the Upper 6 GHz spectrum. The new FG390-MEA-30, which is engineered using the advanced MediaTek T930 platform, facilitates support for NR n104, ushering a significant enhancement with a new hardware design that allows for efficient coordination between the Upper 6 GHz and Sub-6 GHz bands. This remarkable technology has garnered recognition as it was shortlisted for the Network X Awards 2026 in the category of Best Indoor Connectivity Solution, with its high-power capability, designated as PC1, being a notable technical feature.

Continuing with its innovative spirit, Fibocom has also unveiled an X85-based 5G FWA solution, integrated with Wi-Fi 7. This demonstration not only symbolizes Fibocom’s ability to deliver cutting-edge technology but also marks their evolution towards the adoption of 3GPP Release 18, focusing on the advancement of higher-performance broadband platforms.

In addition to FWA solutions, Fibocom’s offerings took a significant leap with the introduction of the SC153 5G smart module, which amalgamates 5G connectivity with computing and multimedia capabilities. This versatile module is particularly suitable for applications within payment terminals, industrial handhelds, office devices, and other intelligent endpoints, powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-4390 platform.

By extending its FWA technologies into lighter device categories, Fibocom has introduced the 5G RedCap MiFi PCBA, which has recently entered small-scale commercial deployment. This compact solution offers a well-balanced compromise between performance, power consumption, and integration, catering optimally to portable broadband devices.
