Los Angeles Film School Alumni Celebrate 18 Emmy Wins at This Year's Ceremony



In an outstanding show of talent and dedication, eight distinguished graduates from The Los Angeles Film School have left their mark at this year's Emmy Awards, contributing significantly to a total of 18 wins across three acclaimed series: The Studio, Hacks, and The Pitt. Notably, the highlight of the evening was The Studio, which achieved a record-breaking 13 Emmy wins during its debut season. The series' success can be largely attributed to the efforts of alumni such as Jesse Sternbaum, Adam Mull, and Allen Aguilar.

Among the alumni, Jesse Sternbaum stood out by securing an individual Emmy Award for his role as a producer on The Studio, which was recognized in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. The achievements didn't stop there; four additional alumni, including Stephanie Goldstein, Brice Bradley, Yermin (Randy) Garcia, and Jamiel VanOver, lent their expertise to the critically acclaimed HBO comedy Hacks, which won two Emmy titles.

Furthermore, the medical drama The Pitt also had a great night, capturing three Emmy Awards. Alexander Jongbloed, another talented alumnus, was recognized as a foley mixer for his work on the series, showcasing the diverse talents nurtured at The Los Angeles Film School.

This year's Emmy Award ceremony saw a total of 32 alumni from The L.A. Film School being nominated for their contributions to 22 different productions. Noteworthy mentions include two past Emmy winners: John Valerio, recognized for his work on The White Lotus, and Joshua Gitersonke, who earned a nomination for his cinematography on The Amazing Race.
