In light of the tragic earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture on August 29, 2026, Red Cliff, a Tokyo-based company specializing in drone shows, expresses its sincere condolences to the victims' families and offers heartfelt support to those who were affected. On August 29 and 30, 2026, Red Cliff will collaborate with Tokyo to present an extraordinary drone show at Odaiba Marine Park. During this event, which features spectacular synchronized performances between the "Tokyo Aqua Symphony" fountain and 800 drones, a QR code connecting to a donation page for Yatsushiro City will be displayed in the night sky. This initiative is part of our commitment to assist the city, which has seen continuous support needs in the aftermath of this disaster.

A Connection Through the Night Sky

Approximately a month has passed since the devastating quake, yet recovery efforts are ongoing in the impacted regions. Red Cliff has been an integral part of Yatsushiro’s vibrant community through our annual participation in the Yatsushiro National Fireworks Competition, showcasing dazzling drone performances since 2022. Yatsushiro holds a special place in our hearts, and it is our responsibility to give back to the community that has warmly welcomed us.

Motivated by our compassion and gratitude towards Yatsushiro, we are making efforts to provide assistance. Despite the geographical distance, the same sky unites Tokyo and Yatsushiro, allowing us to connect through our kindness and support.

The drone show offers a unique platform where spectators can share emotions and thoughts, transcending distances. By featuring a QR code that links to the "Rakuten Furusato Nozei" donation page specifically for earthquake relief in Yatsushiro, we aim to turn the audience's goodwill into tangible contributions.

Visitors will simply need to scan the QR code with their smartphones to access the donation platform. Funds raised will be utilized by Yatsushiro City to aid in the reconstruction of homes and the revitalization of the local community.
