This groundbreaking initiative focuses on passenger transport within the Drôme region of France, implemented in collaboration with Beti Automated Mobility, Renault Group, and Macif. The Robobus service features a fleet of compact six-meter-long vehicles that can accommodate up to eight passengers. These buses will connect vital points in the Rovaltain business park, including the Valence TGV train station, off-site long-term parking, and a catering hub that caters to approximately 150 local companies employing around 3,000 people. The route spans 3.3 kilometers, designed to enhance mobility between the station and workplaces while promoting sustainable transport options.

Jennifer Li, Chief Financial Officer and Head of International Business at WeRide, expressed enthusiasm regarding this venture, stating, "Our collaboration with Beti allows us to execute our inaugural commercial Robobus deployment in Europe, utilizing our proven track record in the Chinese, Singaporean, and Middle Eastern markets. This reinforces our position as a global leader in L4 autonomous driving deployment and commercialization."
