The GTI community has thrived for decades, giving rise to the "GTI Treffen" event, a cult gathering that has taken place in Velden, Austria, over the years. In line with this rich fan culture, the upcoming GTI FAN FEST 2026 will reflect on the history and values that the GTI has built over the past 50 years while allowing attendees to experience current GTI and Volkswagen vehicles.

Scheduled for June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (doors open at 9:00 AM), the event will take place at the Volkswagen Group Japan headquarters in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. This exclusive event is dedicated to Volkswagen and GTI owners, showcasing their beloved vehicles.

Participants will gain access to areas typically closed to the public, including dedicated terminals, technical service centers, and parts depots, offering a rare glimpse into the journey of vehicles from their arrival in Japan to delivery and parts supply. Attendees will also learn about the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process and Volkswagen's commitment to quality management, experiencing the brand's dedication to excellence firsthand.

In addition to these insights, the event will feature special exhibits of historical GTI models and displays from Volkswagen's entire lineup and group brand vehicles. Attendees can also partake in experiential test drives with expert trainers, highlighting the excitement and performance characteristics of the GTI.

The celebration will include stage presentations, exclusive tours, memorabilia for sale, and local delicacies to enjoy, making it a remarkable day for GTI enthusiasts.
