The 2026 event series will commence with the much-anticipated annual Kentucky Derby Party, slated to take place at Frankie's – Pier 40 in San Francisco. This festive gathering provides an enjoyable afternoon filled with activities and excitement. Attendees will have the chance to enjoy a lively atmosphere while simultaneously supporting the Heffernan Breast Cancer Walk Team, along with various ongoing community initiatives sponsored by the Foundation.

As the year progresses, the foundation will facilitate participation in the Breast Cancer Walk event in San Diego. This event caters to various levels of endurance, allowing participants to choose walking experiences that last one to three days, all while raising vital awareness about breast cancer research. July will see the return of one of the Foundation's signature events, the 5th Annual Tuscan Fundraiser at Vin Antico in San Rafael. Attendees can expect an exquisite Italian-inspired feast prepared by renowned chefs Mike Heffernan and John Prichard Jr. The evening will feature a menu filled with an array of authentic Italian dishes, complemented by handpicked wines that capture the essence of the Tuscan experience. Proceeds from this exclusive gathering will be instrumental in funding the Foundation's various programs and initiatives that focus on enhancing local communities.
