GENMA's Strategic Upgrade Drives Significant Success and Global Recognition in Automation Technology

Strategic Upgrades Propel GENMA to New Heights

In less than a year since its strategic modernization launched in September 2025, GENMA, a brand under RAINBOWCO (SZ: 002483), has made impressive strides in the field of terminal container cranes. The brand has secured a series of significant contracts, marking its rapid growth and gaining widespread international recognition for its advanced automation technology, GENSMART.

Major Contracts Across Various Markets

GENMA's ability to outperform competitors has led to the securing of notable contracts. One significant order consisted of 50 rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTG) from a Moroccan port, achieving a record for GENMA in the African market. Additionally, bulk orders for ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMG) from the Netherlands, along with STS and RTG orders from India, represent a breakthrough for GENMA in the European and emerging South Asian markets.

One highlight was securing the world’s largest RTG crane order, featuring a 1 over 7 configuration and 10+1 automated RTGs. This order underscores the trust leading terminal operators place in GENMA’s cranes and automation capabilities, further solidifying its market position.

Proven Automation with GENSMART

GENMA's automation platform, GENSMART, features critical solutions such as AutoRTG, AutoRMG, AutoSTS, and advanced control systems for devices. This integration showcases cutting-edge technology, including multimodal data fusion from sensors, system interconnectivity, AI-supported coordinated dispatching, and digital twin management. The fully automated external truck handling technology is among the best in the industry.

To date, cumulative deliveries and contractual orders for GENMA's automated cranes and modernization projects have surpassed 100 units, demonstrating proven performance in world-class container terminals.

Exceeding Expectations

The remarkable achievements of the GENMA brand across multiple global markets serve as a direct testament to its technical strength and value. Martin Wu, CEO of RAINBOWCO, stated, “The groundbreaking successes of the GENMA brand across various global markets are the most direct recognition of our technical prowess. We will continue to expand our global manufacturing and service network to provide even more efficient and intelligent solutions to our customers.”
