SUNMI Shines at GITEX: Leading the Future of Commerce with BIoT and AI
In a prominent display at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, SUNMI, a leading player in the Business Internet of Things (BIoT), showcased its latest innovations under the compelling theme "BIoT with AI, the Future of Commerce." This was SUNMI's ninth consecutive year attending the influential tech event, where it presented its third-generation product line, featuring the groundbreaking CPad business tablet and the versatile Flex 3 series, alongside digital commerce solutions developed in partnership with a global ecosystem of collaborators.
The SUNMI CPad, a strategic highlight for 2025, received rave reviews for its exceptional performance and adaptability across various commercial scenarios. Since its launch in May 2025, the CPad has been successfully deployed in global markets, significantly enhancing efficiency in retail, food and beverages, finance, and other sectors. Notably, the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, a leading financial institution in Africa, adopted the SUNMI CPad PAY solution to enable a seamless digital banking experience, propelling the digital financial transformation in the Middle East and Africa. Visitors at GITEX also engaged with global partners to explore further collaboration opportunities while experiencing the capabilities of the CPad firsthand.
In addition to the CPad, the Flex 3 captured the admiration of attendees with its modular design and all-encompassing functionality, showcasing SUNMI's advancements in smart commercial devices that empower businesses of all sizes with flexible and high-performance digital tools.
Embracing the GITEX vision of “AI for All,” SUNMI collaborated with industry leaders like Lumous and Ashburn to unveil two cutting-edge solutions: a “Hotel Check-in Self-Service” and “Intelligent Financial Payment.” These demonstrations illustrated how the fusion of BIoT and AI can rejuvenate traditional industries by enhancing operational efficiency and significantly improving customer experiences.
During the “SUNMI One Party” dinner, the company celebrated the signing of strategic partnership agreements with nearly 20 global collaborators. By deepening its cooperation within the local ecosystem, SUNMI is building a more robust “Global SUNMI Network,” providing tailored digital solutions to merchants worldwide.
Since its debut at GITEX in 2017, SUNMI has consistently introduced groundbreaking innovations at this pivotal tech event. By 2025, the solutions developed by SUNMI have reached over 200 countries and regions, supported by a network of more than 62,000 ecosystem partners, delivering consolidated digital solutions for retail, hospitality, finance, healthcare, and more.
"The integration of AI and BIoT is revolutionizing industries," stated Zhang Bin, General Director of SUNMI MEA.
