This popular ramen shop, located near JR Asagaya Station, has built a reputation for offering authentic Yokohama-style ramen, made from a uniquely crafted homemade pork bone and soy sauce broth.

Yokohama Ramen Asagaya opened in August 2020, founded by chef Takashi Kikuchi, who has dedicated nearly 40 years to mastering the art of ramen. After training at some of the most prestigious ramen shops, including Yoshimura-ya and Honmoku-ya, Kikuchi sought to bring genuine Yokohama-style ramen to the heart of Tokyo.

The brand has seen significant growth, launching its second location in Ueno in March 2025, which shows just how well-received the Asagaya establishment has been.
