Mickey Curtis, now 86, has composed a new song that serves as the film's theme. The music is crafted by his long-time acquaintance Haruomi Hosono, with SUGIZO providing the film's score. It’s a celebration of Curtis’s enduring creativity, proving that life can be as vibrant as ever in the later years. The film is set against the backdrop of Nayoro City in Hokkaido, where Curtis firmly chose to reside, embodying his multifaceted life across Asia and Europe.
The film's plot centers on a man nearing the end of his life, portrayed by Curtis, who faces a critical existential choice. He must decide whether to extend his life at the cost of erasing cherished memories of his loved ones. Playing the pivotal role of the fate broker, who facilitates this poignant transaction, is the producer of the film, Koto Hiroyama.
