Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Virtual 2026: Registration Now Open

Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS), a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting, retaining, and enhancing the presence of women in the cybersecurity industry, has officially opened registrations for its upcoming event, WiCyS Virtual 2026. Set to take place on April 22–23, 2026, this conference aims to build on the successes of previous gatherings and make educational resources more accessible than ever to cybersecurity professionals worldwide.

What to Expect at WiCyS Virtual 2026

The primary goal of WiCyS Virtual 2026 is to provide enriching professional development opportunities, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits, and invaluable insights into technical education and career growth. The virtual format widens participation possibilities, enabling attendees from various locations to engage in this vital conversation about the future of cybersecurity.

Lynn Dohm, Executive Director of WiCyS, emphasized the importance of this initiative: "Our virtual conference continues to play a critical role in broadening access to cybersecurity education and foster a sense of community. By offering flexible options for global participation, we empower individuals to connect, learn, and progress within the cybersecurity field."

The event promises an extensive agenda, featuring 29 live sessions and five recorded keynote addresses that capture the latest trends, challenges, and breakthroughs in cybersecurity. Interestingly, the full agenda is already available for potential attendees to explore, making planning their participation more convenient.

Live Sessions and Career Fair

The WiCyS Virtual 2026 will host live sessions via Zoom, spanning two key days. On April 22, sessions will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, while on April 23, they will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM CT. For those who might miss a session, all recordings will be accessible for one month following the event, ensuring that every participant can glean insights at their convenience.

In addition, the lineup includes a Virtual Career Fair (VCF), aimed at connecting job seekers with potential employers. Scheduled for April 23 from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM CT, alongside an early access session on April 22 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM CT, this component is designed to foster networking while avoiding conflicts with educational sessions.

Interactive communication channels will be available, allowing attendees to engage with speakers, sponsors, and one another in real-time throughout the event.
