Remixpoint's 10th Battery Storage Facility Launch
Remixpoint, Inc., headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new battery storage facility located at 864-10 Ryokamihaku, Ogano Town, Saitama Prefecture, marking a significant step in the company’s long-term strategy. This facility is expected to begin construction on July 1, 2026, and represents a critical milestone as Remixpoint aims to bolster its stock revenue model through self-owned projects.
Strategic Development and Future Plans
With the aim of developing a robust revenue base, this project is aligned with the company's medium-term management plan, demonstrating steady progress. Currently, the site preparation, including the removal of residual materials and subsurface investigations, is underway. By late August 2026, the company plans to transition to full-scale construction activities, leading to operational readiness.
Remixpoint has established an ambitious target to develop a total of 32 high-voltage battery storage facilities by the end of March 2029, with plans to own at least 20 of them. The company currently owns ten operational battery storage facilities, and this new development is a step in fulfilling its commitment to expand its self-owned assets by 20 or more locations.
Revenue Model of Self-Owned Battery Storage
The self-owned battery storage facilities are designed to generate continuous revenues in the medium to long term through market operations within the Japan Electric Power Exchange (JEPX), demand response markets, and capacity markets. Each operational facility is projected to generate roughly ¥20 million per month, contributing to strengthening the financial foundation of the company.
Remixpoint manages the entire project cycle internally—from land acquisition and economic feasibility assessments to system design, construction, and subsequent operation and maintenance. This integrated approach allows the company to accumulate valuable knowledge and expertise in developing and operating its facilities, continuously enhancing its business model.

Additionally, the knowledge and operational expertise gained from developing these facilities will be leveraged across sales projects and energy management systems (EMS), enhancing overall competitiveness in the battery storage solutions sector.
As the company progresses with construction and power supply milestones, it will provide regular updates in alignment with its medium-term management plan to keep stakeholders informed.
About Remixpoint
Remixpoint focuses on energy solutions as a core component of its growth strategy, encompassing the development, ownership, sales, and operation of grid-scale battery systems and EMS initiatives. The company’s key strength lies in its ability to return the operational data and expertise gained from its self-owned facilities to sales projects and EMS services, thereby creating a dual revenue stream model. This approach aims at utilizing grid-scale batteries not only as revenue-generating assets but also as emergency infrastructure for community disaster preparedness, contributing to the realization of a sustainable energy society.
