Thinca and Fixstars Form Strategic Alliance to Enhance AI Communication Services

Thinca and Fixstars Forge a Strategic Alliance

In an exciting development within the AI communication space, Thinca has announced its partnership with Fixstars as of March 30, 2026. This collaboration focuses on the integration and expansion of their leading AI communication platform, Kaikura.

Context of the Partnership

Thinca, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is committed to rapid advancements in generative AI services, including AI-driven phone and chat functionalities. The decision to collaborate with Fixstars comes as part of a significant growth investment plan, amounting to an impressive 980 million yen, aimed at enhancing development speed and competitive advantage in the market.

On March 19, 2026, Thinca had already partnered with SB C&S to strengthen its sales promotion framework. The current collaboration with Fixstars is viewed as a necessary step to enhance the product development infrastructure further, ensuring robust growth momentum for Thinca’s business operations.

Objectives of the Alliance

The partnership will leverage Fixstars' advanced software acceleration technology and its rich experience in implementing AI solutions for enterprise-level clients. This integration seeks to elevate the AI features within Kaikura, moving beyond existing external AI services to create proprietary AI environments. The objective is to co-develop cutting-edge engines that will offer superior AI services.

Role Distribution and Roadmap

The collaborated effort will see both companies contributing significantly to the advancement of their shared goals. Thinca will take the lead on infrastructure development, front-end application design, system integration, and prototype development, including user testing.

In contrast, Fixstars will focus on technical inquiries and validation for the core voice dialogue engine, support technology selection, and expand core functionalities while designing proprietary AI and LLM (large language model) features that differentiate their services in the market.

The initial phase involves swift prototype development utilizing external APIs and other resources. In the mid to long-term, both companies plan to deepen their collaboration to explore and develop unique AI technologies in order to establish a competitive AI service foundation.

Thinca aspires to continuously elevate the AI capabilities through this strategic partnership, aligning with the long-term objective of maximizing corporate value.
