Geotab Unveils Advanced Tracking Solutions for European Fleets at Connect Europe 2026

Geotab Unveils New Product Families for European Fleets at Connect Europe 2026

Geotab Inc., a prominent name in connected vehicle and asset management solutions, made waves at Geotab Connect Europe™ 2026, held in Barcelona, with the announcement of their latest innovations: the GO® Device Family and the GO Anywhere™ asset tracker family. These new products are designed specifically to provide European fleet operators with comprehensive intelligence across their entire asset base, from vehicles to equipment.

As the landscape for fleet management becomes increasingly challenging, marked by a significant rise in diesel prices—over 30% since January 2026—and alarming theft rates in the construction industry costing an estimated €1.5 billion annually, the importance of reliable data in driving operational decisions has never been greater. Geotab’s new product families offer solutions that empower fleet operators to manage these pressures effectively.

The GO Device Family

The GO® and GO Plus™ devices are engineered on a state-of-the-art shared architecture, enabling the collection and processing of high-resolution data that integrates seamlessly into the Geotab intelligence platform. The GO device excels with its native Bluetooth® support, allowing for driver applications without the need for additional hardware. It features advanced monitoring capabilities that track specialized vehicle metrics, including Power Take-Off (PTO), and includes a 'last gasp' tamper alert activated by a supercapacitor that notifies fleet managers immediately if a device is detached.

For more complex operations, the GO Plus adds extra features, such as satellite tracking for regions with poor coverage and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot for in-cabin tablets, along with a mode that enables automated data uploads from depots. Notably, it retains five seconds of high-resolution data during collisions, safeguarding crucial information for insurance purposes.

Both devices synergize with Geotab Ace®, the company's AI assistant, converting detailed vehicle data into actionable insights for fleet managers. This integration is vital as it turns raw information into strategic operational decisions.

The GO Anywhere Family

The GO Anywhere family enhances asset visibility beyond vehicles, incorporating tracking capabilities for trailers, tools, and other equipment. Designed for non-powered assets such as trailers and idle machinery, GO Anywhere ensures up to a decade of battery life, providing hourly location updates without frequent maintenance. It also features an on-demand High-Frequency Mode, crucial for rapid tracking and recovery in theft scenarios.

The GO Anywhere Plus™ variant introduces wired power for real-time monitoring alongside a field-replaceable backup battery, ensuring continuous visibility across diverse deployments. This feature is particularly beneficial for logistics businesses managing cross-border trailer fleets and construction companies tracking heavy machinery across various sites.

Furthermore, through the use of Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) beacons, Small Asset Tracking technology allows operators to monitor portable tools and equipment prone to loss. Alerts can be configured to notify managers when assets leave designated geofence boundaries, significantly reducing the risk of loss.

Conclusion

As fleet operators navigate through increasing costs and operational complexities, the introduction of the GO Device Family and GO Anywhere tracking solutions marks a pivotal shift towards comprehensive fleet management systems. According to Edward Kulperger, Senior Vice President of Geotab EMEA, “Fleets are under pressure with rising costs, tighter margins, and increasing complexity.” The new GO products directly address these challenges by delivering enhanced capabilities without the necessity for additional hardware or custom setups.

Both the GO Device Family and the GO Anywhere products will be rolled out across Europe in late 2026, following their successful North American launch in February. This development signifies Geotab's commitment to unifying the fragmented hardware ecosystem that fleets currently rely on, replacing multiple vendors with a single, AI-capable data foundation.
