BLUETTI Collaborates with Banff Centre for 51st Annual Mountain Film Festival and World Tour
BLUETTI and Banff Centre: A Partnership for Adventure
In an exciting development for outdoor film enthusiasts and adventurers, BLUETTI has officially announced its partnership with the 51st Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival. This collaboration extends to the thrilling Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour, which will showcase extraordinary stories of adventure and resilience across North America.
As an Official Major Partner, BLUETTI is bringing its innovative initiative, “Power the Story Beyond the Screen,” to both the U.S. and Canada. The goal of this initiative is to seamlessly merge clean energy solutions with the rich culture of mountain exploration. This not only empowers filmmakers but also supports outdoor communities that rely on sustainable practices.
Empowering story creators
James Ray, Marketing Director at BLUETTI, emphasized the importance of supporting these creators who tackle the harshest environments to bring their inspiring stories to life. “Behind every inspiring film on screen are creators pushing limits in raw, unpredictable environments,” said Ray. He added, “Partnering with Banff Centre is about honoring that relentless spirit and supporting their off-grid journeys to bring remarkable stories from the field to audiences everywhere.”
Joanna Croston, Director of the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, echoed this sentiment by affirming the festival's commitment to adventure and environmental responsibility. She remarked, “We believe in building a strong roster of sponsors who help us tell incredible stories and promote an environmentally friendly mountain lifestyle full of adventure. We are honored to welcome BLUETTI to our festival family and are deeply grateful for their support.”
Events and activities
From November 6 to 8, 2026, at the Banff Centre's Kinnear Centre, BLUETTI will set up an interactive Marketplace booth and Energy Hub. This area will not only keep attendees powered up but will also feature live expert walkthroughs of their new Elite Lineup, designed specifically for outdoor creators and adventurers.
As the flagship event transitions into the 2026-2027 World Tour, which starts in December across theaters and venues in North America, filmmakers and backcountry explorers will enjoy the benefits of BLUETTI's robust portable power stations paired with solar panels. This ensures their cameras keep rolling and camping sites remain powered, allowing creativity and adventure to thrive even in the most remote areas.
Celebrating the outdoor community
BLUETTI’s initiative isn’t just about providing power; it’s about creating lasting impacts. Through this partnership, organizers invite the global outdoor community to gather, celebrate, and witness extraordinary tales that push the boundaries, both on and off the screen.
