Catholic Charities USA Launches Inspiring National Campaign to Foster Community Support

Spreading Hope: Catholic Charities USA's National Advertising Campaign

Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), which represents 169 Catholic Charities agencies across America, has taken a significant step to spread hope and encourage community involvement. On April 21, 2026, they launched a nationwide advertising campaign designed to inspire individuals to serve their neighbors who are in need. This initiative is a call to action for people to engage with local Catholic Charities, which have a profound impact on over 16 million lives each year.

A Call to Action

Kerry Alys Robinson, the President and CEO of CCUSA, expressed the heart of this campaign by emphasizing the merciful and selfless contributions made daily by the staff and volunteers within the Catholic Charities network. Robinson stated, “By following the Gospel call to love and serve our neighbors, we can strengthen our communities, our world, and ourselves.” The campaign inspires everyone to find ways, no matter how small, to provide assistance to those who are struggling, thereby embodying the spirit of neighborliness.

The Campaign Unfolds

The advertising phase is scheduled to run until the end of May, with additional phases planned for the summer and fall seasons. Throughout 2026, the campaign will be promoted across various national media platforms, including Catholic and Christian publications, Spanish-language media, and digital settings. This will include targeted print ads, digital display spots, television commercials, sponsored emails, and podcast advertisements.

Developed by J2, a Philadelphia-based branding agency, in collaboration with Moth, an animation studio in London, the campaign's creative approach captures the essence of community service. Through vibrant visuals portraying acts of kindness and solidarity, the ads reflect how the Catholic Charities network uplifts families and communities in need.

Engaging the Community

A significant aspect of the campaign is its connection to the "People of Hope: Faith-Filled Stories of Neighbors Helping Neighbors" museum. This traveling storytelling exhibition celebrates the impact of Christian service and commenced its journey across the United States in late March. The ads encourage viewers to visit People of Hope to learn about the museum's schedule and to discover their local Catholic Charities agencies.

Additionally, the website is designed for visitors to explore volunteering opportunities and support local initiatives. Combining educational elements with community outreach aims to foster a deeper connection between individuals and their local charities, highlighting the importance of service.
