Call for Entries for the 4th XJTLU Global Dream Chasers Entrepreneurial Competition

Aspiring student entrepreneurs from all corners of the globe are encouraged to take part in the fourth XJTLU Global Dream Chasers Entrepreneurial Competition, hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The registration period for the first round is open until October 27, 2025. This competition is aimed at fostering innovation and developing entrepreneurial skills among students. It encompasses three diverse tracks to suit various stages of business ideas

Competition Tracks

1. Early-stage Idea Track: This track is perfect for those who have a creative concept but may not have a developed prototype or business plan. The focus here is on nurturing ingenuity and presentation skills.

2. Mature Business Project Track: Tailored for existing ventures, this track emphasizes the need for feasibility and commercial viability. Participants are required to provide a prototype, a solid business model, and relevant market data.

3. Corporate Track: This unique track invites industry partners to present real-world challenges that student teams can address. Companies offer their resources and support as students create innovative solutions. The initiation of this track is reliant on the readiness of corporate partners.

In addition to the learning experiences, participants will gain access to industry resources and investment opportunities that can further facilitate their entrepreneurial journeys.

Prizes

A staggering total of 300,000 RMB in cash prizes will be divided among 60 winning teams, with awards distributed as follows:

• - First Prize: 20,000 RMB for each of three teams
• - Second Prize: 15,000 RMB for each of six teams
• - Third Prize: 8,000 RMB for nine teams
• - Excellence Award: 3,000 RMB for 18 teams
• - Participation Award: 1,000 RMB for 24 teams

All winning teams will also receive additional benefits, including one-on-one mentorship with technopreneurs and scholarships for MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. For teams participating in the corporate track, a separate cash prize will be awarded.

Eligibility

To enter, teams must consist of a minimum of two students, and participants can come from anywhere in the world. Project themes can span various fields, with suggested areas of focus including but not limited to:

• - Healthy Living & Cultural Technology
• - Finance & Business Innovation

• - Award Ceremony: April 10, 2026
