In a significant development for the maritime industry, MacGregor, a leader in maritime cargo and load handling solutions, has partnered with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard to provide a comprehensive range of RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) equipment for two new state-of-the-art battery-hybrid LNG ferries commissioned by TT-Line. The contracts signed include delivering advanced RoRo systems for each vessel, solidifying one of the most extensive freight handling setups that MacGregor has ever executed. With each ferry measuring 240 meters, they will accommodate up to 1,000 passengers and offer an impressive 5,400 lane meters of cargo capacity. The ferries are set to operate key routes across the Baltic, connecting notable destinations such as Sweden, Germany, Poland, and Lithuania.

Equipped with cutting-edge battery-hybrid technology and fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), these ships are instrumental in TT-Line’s mission to reduce carbon emissions and optimize energy consumption.
