In a significant step towards enhancing its leadership team, Radiant Logistics, Inc. recently appointed David Buss as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). This move positions Buss to leverage his extensive experience in the logistics and transportation sector, where he has more than 30 years of executive leadership.

A Proven Leader in Logistics

David Buss comes to Radiant Logistics with a strong track record in managing complex operations, strategic planning, and business development. His most recent role was as Chief Executive Officer, North America Cluster for DB Schenker. There, he not only led the U.S. division but also played a pivotal role in enhancing the company's operating margins by over 200% during a five-year span. Additionally, Buss was instrumental in the integration of DB Schenker’s acquisition of USA Truck, which was finalized in September 2022.

Before his tenure at DB Schenker, Buss was the Chief Operating Officer at STG Logistics. He spearheaded operational due diligence for three different acquisitions and successfully merged seven acquisitions, building a $380 million independent outsourcing firm tailored for logistics and transportation services. His initiatives in improving revenue generation and margins created more than $20 million in value for the organization.

Over his career, Buss has held high-ranking roles across various companies, including Area Vice President at UTI Worldwide, Executive Vice President of Global Development at Panther Premium Logistics, Vice President of Global Operations at AIT Worldwide Logistics, and Director of Business Development at Expeditors International. His diverse experience positions him well to tackle the various challenges faced by Radiant Logistics.

Radiant's Expanding Service Capabilities

Radiant Logistics, under Buss's leadership, aims to enhance its already diverse service offerings that encompass domestic and international freight forwarding, truck and rail brokerage, and various value-added supply chain services. This includes customs brokerage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehousing.

A critical tool in connecting these expansive services is Navegate, Radiant's proprietary global trade management platform. This system boosts transparency and coordination across the supply chain, significantly advantageous for the company's clients and operations.
