Future Golf and Troon Partner for Enhanced Golf Access
In a groundbreaking development for golf enthusiasts, Future Golf, a leading social golf club in Australia boasting over 60,000 members, has announced its partnership with Troon—the world’s largest golf and hospitality management company. This collaboration aims to significantly expand golf access for members across the United States through Troon’s innovative platform, Access Powered by Troon.
The partnership officially marks Future Golf as the first affiliate of Troon’s Access program, which integrates a loyalty system, tee-time booking, and rewards to create a seamless experience for golfers. This strategic move allows Future Golf members to earn and redeem Access Points for golf rounds at more than 60 golf courses affiliated with Troon across the U.S.
The Future Golf Membership Experience
Members of Future Golf enjoy the privilege of playing 12 rounds a year at affiliated courses while gaining exclusive access to events and community experiences. With this new partnership, they will gain additional rewards, further incentivizing their love for the game. The integration allows members to easily manage their points through the Future Golf app, enhancing the play experience.
Jeff Ma, Chief Digital Officer at Troon, emphasized the ambition behind Access, stating, “Our goal is to create the premier loyalty network in golf, extending beyond courses exclusively managed by Troon. Future Golf’s integration is a pivotal first stride in making golf more accessible.”
Access Powered by Troon
The Access loyalty program is a complimentary offering that enables golfers to earn points from qualifying activities. These points can be redeemed not only for rounds at participating courses but also for various products available in the Access Shop. This cooperative effort is designed to cultivate connections between golfers and course operators, reinforcing Troon’s commitment to growth within and outside its network.
Future Golf’s expansion into the U.S. market marks a significant chapter in its journey following over a decade of successful operations in Australia. The launch, set to take place in California, aims to establish a community where golf lovers can share experiences while enjoying the sport. A celebratory event to welcome Founding Members is scheduled for October 30 at Golden Gate Park Golf Course in San Francisco, creating excitement for the upcoming member experience.
Brenton Humphreys, COO of Future Golf, expressed optimism about the partnership: “Our community thrives on engagement—playing more golf, connecting with fellow golfers, and maximizing the overall golfing experience. Being the first to collaborate with Access is an opportunity we cherish as it adds more flexibility to how our members can enjoy the game across different locations.”
As Future Golf scales its operations across the U.S., it envisions a cohesive network that becomes increasingly beneficial for members during their travels. The synergies between Future Golf and Troon promise a revitalization of how golf is experienced, especially for those eager to embrace new golfing destinations.
