Kawai Juku Manavis Opens New Facility
Kawai Juku Manavis, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is set to inaugurate a specialized facility,
Kawai Juku Manavis Tokyo University Specialty Building, on February 14, 2026, in Shinjuku. This new institution is dedicated exclusively to preparing junior high and high school students for the rigorous Tokyo University entrance examinations. It combines over 50 years of analytic expertise garnered from the Kawai Juku Group to offer personalized curriculums aimed at optimizing individual success.
About Kawai Juku Manavis Tokyo University Specialty Building
The Kawai Juku Group has systematically refined its processes, leveraging insights from professional instructors and data derived from actual student responses. One of their standout programs, the
Tokyo University Entrance Exam Open, is regarded as the most realistic mock examination, tailored to mimic actual entrance exam conditions. This facility plans to continue that legacy of excellence.
Special Advisor and English Instructor Setsuko Takasawa, who has long been involved with
Tokyo University English and oversees the exam creation for
Tokyo University Entrance Exam Open, will lead the instructional design. With her guidance, students will benefit from rigorously crafted lesson plans drawn from Kawai Juku's deep reservoir of experience in designing effective educational programs.
The facility incorporates the educational strategies developed since Kawai Juku Manavis's inception in 2006. Students will engage in a 'super-fast learning curriculum,' which fast-tracks their education by accelerating through the curriculum prevalent in several integrated junior and senior high schools. The program will also feature a dynamic system that adapts to each student's learning pace, ensuring that academically inclined students are provided with an optimal learning environment.
In recent years, Tokyo University has undergone numerous reforms in response to a rapidly changing societal landscape, updating both its curriculum and examination formats. To navigate these changes competently, students must be equipped with the insights and techniques that align with the most current examination methodologies. The new facility, thus, will arm aspiring candidates with cutting-edge strategies to surmount the entrance hurdles they face.
Planned Instructional Overview
Kawai Juku Manavis Tokyo University Specialty Building will emphasize the following aspects in its teaching:

In conjunction with video lessons, students will participate in seminars led by university trainers who have been trained by professional instructors, enhancing their understanding through practical exercises. These sessions will last for 60 minutes weekly, providing options for group or individual formats.
3.
Past Examination Training Seminars (Group Format)
From the first year of high school, students will participate in seminars utilizing real exam problems, with competitive elements, perfect for accurate assessment of their academic prowess based on Kawai Juku's comprehensive data analysis.
