Carnival Cruise Line has made headlines with its announcement of a groundbreaking loyalty program set to launch in June 2026. The new initiative, labeled Carnival Rewards™, aims to offer a points-based system that promises personalized rewards and innovative opportunities for customers to earn status. 2. Status Tiers: The program will feature four distinct levels - Red, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Members can unlock higher statuses through accumulated star ratings, adding an element of prestige and achievement.

3. Credit Card Integration: The program is designed to tie in seamlessly with the Carnival Rewards Mastercard, enabling members to earn points through everyday spending, thus accelerating their journey towards elite status.

As a key part of the rollout process, existing members’ statuses will be honored for continuity. For instance, Diamond members will retain their status until May 31, 2032. This thoughtful approach ensures that current loyalty levels are respected even as guests transition to the new system.

Before the launch of Carnival Rewards™, patrons will continue earning VIFP status. Moreover, an important detail is that during the transition, all Fun Points from existing accounts will convert to Carnival Rewards points, making the shift smooth and user-friendly.
