This groundbreaking feature is set to transform how testing documentation is crafted, linking requirements directly to verifiable test coverage. The Assurance Lifecycle empowers developers and teams to ensure their product functionalities are thoroughly tested and validated against specific requirements.

The Need for Enhanced Testing Approaches



Traditionally, testing has often encountered challenges related to tracking requirements throughout the development lifecycle. 2. Proposal of Use Cases: An AI agent reads these documents, extracts meaningful insights, and proposes relevant use cases, enhancing the team’s focus on applicable scenarios.
3. Review Process: Teams can evaluate the proposed use cases, deciding whether to approve, edit, or reject them. This aspect ensures that only thoroughly vetted information makes it to the next stage.
4. Designing Tests: The command `kane-cli design tests` is utilized to transform these approved use cases into acceptance criteria, executable scenarios, and tests linked back to the corresponding requirement.
5. Execution and Evidence Generation: Once tests are designed, they are executed using `kane-cli testmd run`, resulting in a package of certified evidence documenting the execution status.
6. Coverage Measurement: The tool employs `kane-cli cover` to report not only what has been demonstrated through execution but also what remains untested. Gaps in coverage are registered as prioritized issues.
7. Test Suite Maintenance: With `kane-cli maintain`, the test suite is updated automatically when any component of the source documentation changes, ensuring continuous alignment between tests and requirements.
