A delectable offering from Grip Second, known for its innovative craft beers, this year's Peach Beer is a celebration of Tochigi's Madoka peaches, sourced from Watanabe Orchard in Kanuma City. This seasonal brew will be launched on September 11, 2026, at LAZULI PLACE in Utsunomiya and RACINES AOYAMA in Minato, Tokyo. Following its initial release, it will be available across various locations starting from September 25, 2026 until mid-October.

The Heart of Peach Beer

The peaches used in the production of Peach Beer 2026 are classified as irregular, meaning they do not meet standard shipping criteria due to their size or minor blemishes. However, they are high in juice content and sweetness, ideal for brewing. Each peach is carefully peeled and processed into puree by hand, ensuring that the aromatic qualities of the fruit shine through in the final beer.

This year's production method includes a meticulous addition of 15 kg of peaches per tank, introduced in two stages: before and after fermentation. This method enhances the fragrant notes of the peach, allowing its essence to permeate the beer. The fermentation utilizes WLP077 yeast and Nectaron hops, chosen specifically to complement and elevate the peach flavors.

A New Location for Flavor Exploration

For 2026, the introduction of LAZULI PLACE as a new venue marks a significant expansion for the Peach Beer, allowing patrons in Tochigi to enjoy this local delicacy. Previously available only in Tokyo, local beer enthusiasts can now indulge in a refreshing glass of Peach Beer, perfectly reflecting the flavors of the region.

Starting September 11, patrons at LAZULI PLACE and the brewery-anchored RACINES AOYAMA can be among the first to sample this unique fruit ale, with its fruity essence and a refreshing 5% ABV. From September 25 onwards, the brew will be distributed across several locations in Tokyo, including RACINES Boulangerie & Bistro, RACINES FARM TO PARK, and more.
