First Tech Federal Credit Union Welcomes Stephen Poole as SVP
On July 8, 2025, First Tech Federal Credit Union made an exciting announcement regarding its leadership in investment services. Stephen Poole has been appointed as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Addison Avenue Investment Services. In this pivotal role, Poole will oversee various strategic initiatives such as investment program sales, compliance, and client engagement — all crucial areas that contribute to the credit union's ongoing success in helping members achieve their financial aspirations.
Poole joins First Tech with an impressive background of over 25 years in investment and wealth management. Previously, he served as SVP at Columbia Wealth Advisors, where he managed a substantial investment program of $3 billion in assets under management (AUM), affiliated with Raymond James while also operating under Umpqua Bank. During his leadership at Columbia Wealth Advisors, Poole accomplished a significant transition for the company by successfully converting its broker/dealer from Cetera Financial Group to Raymond James. This experience has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, particularly in navigating complex financial landscapes.
This appointment marks a new chapter for Addison Avenue, succeeding Kelly Corah, who retired after a commendable 27 years with the organization. Greg Mitchell, President and CEO of First Tech, expressed his confidence in Poole’s capabilities, saying, "Stephen's strong character, personal integrity, deep expertise, and shared passion for people, culture, and innovation will deliver great value for our clients, members, and financial advisors for many years to come." Mitchell also took a moment to acknowledge Corah’s impactful leadership, underscoring the legacy she leaves behind and the bright future he envisions for Addison Avenue and its clients.
In his response, Poole articulated his excitement about joining First Tech: "I'm honored to join such an accomplished team of professionals. I look forward to helping build on the strong foundation and legacy of excellence at Addison Avenue Investment Services and First Tech." This enthusiasm reflects the forward-thinking mindset that members can expect as First Tech continues to prioritize exceptional service and effective financial solutions.
