Welcome to Le Café BENOIT NIHANT
On November 28, 2025, a new culinary gem will grace the 4th floor of Seibu Ikebukuro, as Le Café BENOIT NIHANT opens its doors. This café marks the first of its kind in Japan for the renowned Belgian chocolate brand, Benoit Nihant. Following the successful launch of their first retail outlet in the department store's basement food floor in September, this café offers a unique experience for chocolate lovers.
What to Expect
Le Café BENOIT NIHANT features the signature bonbons that have made Benoit Nihant a household name among chocolate connoisseurs. Guests can indulge in delightful offerings inspired by beloved Belgian café menus. One standout item is the "Éclair Salé," a savory eclair filled with salmon or prosciutto, encased in delicate dough that perfectly balances flavor and texture. This exquisite dish offers a light and harmonious blend of ingredients, providing a refreshing yet fulfilling treat.
In addition, the café serves light meals and sweets, including a salad and house-made scone set, designed to enhance the chocolate's aroma when paired with teas and coffees. You can also savor cakes currently sold in the basement location right at the café, allowing for a delightful dessert experience.
