On January 23, 2025, the scientific community welcomed Keith Hale as the new Group CEO of Titian Software and Labguru (BioData Inc.), two powerhouses in laboratory data management. This strategic appointment aims to accelerate the advancement of digital lab operations, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and innovation in research and development (R&D).
Keith brings an impressive track record with over three decades of software and technology leadership experience. He co-founded Netik and served as CEO of Multifonds, showcasing his capability to foster growth and innovation. In his previous role as Executive Chairman and CEO, Hale successfully established TrustQuay by merging Microgen and Touchstone, further solidifying his expertise in leading transformative initiatives.
As Group CEO, Hale is set to oversee a global organization that integrates the strengths of Labguru and Titian Software. Under his leadership, the focus will be on enhancing capabilities in sample management, inventory control, Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). These advancements are crucial for increasing productivity and streamlining the complexities involved in scientific research.
The robust technology solutions offered by Titian and Labguru are poised to support more than 900 customers and over 45,000 scientists worldwide. Titian's flagship product, Mosaic, is recognized as a comprehensive sample management platform deployed by leading pharmaceutical corporations. Eight out of the top ten pharmaceutical companies leverage Mosaic to effectively manage sample inventories, which can exceed a billion samples, giving laboratories the tools necessary for cutting-edge scientific inquiry.
