Zerova’s Revolutionary MCS Dispenser Unveiled at IAA Transportation 2026

This innovative charging unit is specifically designed to support the electrification of heavy-duty trucks and buses, catering to the growing demands of European fleet operators as they transition towards megawatt-class charging systems for long-distance commercial vehicles.

Delivering Cutting-Edge Charging Solutions

The MCS dispenser is based on Zerova's proven power cabinet architecture, the DO360 and DZ480. It is a satellite charging unit that provides output of up to 1,440 kW and 1,500 A with liquid cooling, along with an output voltage range of 150 to 950 V DC for DO360 and 200 to 950 V DC for DZ480. This unit is designed to adapt and scale with the adoption of CharIN’s Megawatt Charging System standard across European logistics and passenger transport networks.

The design accommodates the specific needs of fleet depots and road corridors, making it a critical infrastructure piece in the electrification landscape. The dispenser features liquid-cooled cables up to 7 meters long compatible with MCS and CCS2 connectors, a 10.4-inch IK8-certified touchscreen, and flexible user authentication options, including RFID, QR code scanning, and optional credit card payments through payment terminals. Furthermore, the system complies with OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1 protocols, ensuring seamless integration with backend management systems of charge point operators.

As heavy transportation leads the charge in the electrification effort across Europe, fleet operators require robust charging infrastructure that keeps pace with rapidly changing technology.
