GAC Launches Its First European Spare Parts Distribution Center in Rotterdam
On September 5, GAC officially opened its first European Spare Parts Distribution Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands, marking a significant milestone in its logistics strategy for the continent. This facility is pivotal in the network aimed at improving aftermarket service, adhering to the company's directive of being 'In Europe, for Europe.' Such efforts underscore GAC's commitment to deepen its localization process within the overseas automotive market, enhancing the experience for European customers.
The event was a celebration of GAC’s local presence, emphasizing its strategy to establish an efficient and reliable overseas service network that supports one of its three key initiatives: delivering superior customer experiences. During the opening ceremony, esteemed guests gathered to witness the cutting of the ribbon and the unveiling of a plaque that bears the name of the center. As the first truck, fully loaded with auto parts, rolled out of the warehouse, it symbolized GAC's pursuit of efficiency in service delivery.
The commencement of operations at this distribution center signifies the beginning of GAC’s plans to develop a comprehensive service network covering mainland Europe. By implementing transparent inventory management, quick delivery systems, and visual logistics dashboards, GAC intends to provide quick access to spare parts for dealers and alleviate inventory pressures. This not only ensures an efficient after-sales service for European customers but also sets a foundation for future expansions into other countries, bringing local warehouses closer to market demands.
In the days ahead, GAC plans to further refine its European supply chain and service network, using quality service as a bridge to build brand recognition and trust among customers. The goal is to continuously enhance the development of Chinese automotive brands in the European market. GAC's localized service upgrades are aimed at promoting deep integration and collaborative growth within the Chinese and European automotive industries. This strategic approach positions GAC not just as a car manufacturer but as a holistic service provider dedicated to meeting the unique demands of European consumers. The opening of this center is seen not as an endpoint, but as the starting point of a long journey towards achieving comprehensive service excellence.
