Nifco Launches Innovative One-Touch Reflector Shield for Subaru Vehicles

Previously, Subaru technicians were advised to attach wooden boards to metal stands to prevent noise during radar adjustments. To address these issues, Nifco developed the one-touch reflector shielding solution by integrating its advanced radar-compatible electromagnetic wave absorption panels with their fastener technology. This product has now been officially adopted as an approved tool for operational improvements by Subaru.

The innovative design features a removable plastic clamp on the back of the radar absorption panel, allowing for easy installation and removal. Moreover, the clamp offers an optimal holding force, enabling height adjustments of the reflector even while attached. This increases efficiency for technicians and ensures a more reliable calibration process. The sales of this product commenced on May 14 through Subaru dealerships and it comes with impressive specifications, achieving over -20dB electromagnetic wave absorption performance in the 76-81GHz frequency band.
