INTERA Incorporated Welcomes New CEO Peter Castiglia

In a significant leadership transition, INTERA Incorporated announced that Peter Castiglia has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025. His appointment follows the decision of Marsh Lavenue, PhD, who has held the dual roles of CEO and Board Chair since 2008, to retire at the end of this year.

The decision to elect Castiglia was made unanimously by the company's Board of Directors after an extensive search process, which spanned approximately nine months. DHR Global, a management consulting firm, played a pivotal role in this process, analyzing both internal candidates and external contenders before determining that Peter was the ideal fit to guide INTERA forward.

His extensive experience in the consulting industry is complemented by his academic background; he holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Union College and a Master of Science in Earth and Planetary Sciences from the University of New Mexico.
