CPT Group Strengthens Leadership with Sondra Monroe as VP of Business Development

In a significant move to bolster its leadership, CPT Group, Inc. has announced the appointment of Sondra Monroe as Vice President of Business Development. This new role comes at a pivotal time for the company, which continues to demonstrate growth in the realm of complex litigation and settlement administration.

With over 28 years of specialized expertise, Sondra Monroe has consistently excelled in areas such as class action administration, fiduciary services, and corporate trust. Her background is characterized by a proven ability to forge and expand strategic client partnerships across the nation. Given the rising demand for specialized settlement administration services, her appointment serves to meet these evolving market needs effectively.

In her new capacity, Monroe will prioritize client acquisition and relationship development, with a strong focus on deepening partnerships with law firms, managing agents, and other court-appointed entities. Her mission is to establish CPT Group as the go-to partner for firms handling intricate class action matters. Julie Green, President of CPT Group, expressed tremendous optimism about Monroe's arrival, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Sondra to our team. Her extensive experience in both legal and financial services positions her perfectly to lead our business development efforts. Her ability to listen, build trust, and deliver effective solutions is essential for fostering long-term client relationships and supporting our growth objectives."

Monroe's approach to client interactions is often characterized by a high-touch, consultative method. Rather than merely engaging in transactional exchanges, she immerses herself in understanding the unique demands of each case, leading to tailored, effective solutions. Throughout her career, she has shown an adeptness for spotting market trends, scaling operations from a startup to a national level, and nurturing strategic partnerships that endure over time.

"I'm eager to leverage my background in complex litigation administration and related financial services to enhance CPT Group's presence within the class action and mass tort communities," Monroe stated regarding her new role. "The trust and collaboration I’ve cultivated with attorneys and industry stakeholders over my career are invaluable, and I look forward to expanding that as a trusted advisor to clients. My aim is to help them navigate the complexities of their cases with precision, delivering bespoke solutions grounded in CPT’s commitment to accuracy and integrity in settlement administration."

Prior to taking on this leadership role at CPT Group, Monroe held various senior positions focused on business development and advisory services, consistently growing partnerships with national law firms and leading growth initiatives in claims administration and escrow services. She is a proud alumna of the Charlotte School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, specializing in Finance. Her qualifications also encompass Advanced and Foundational Certificates in Mass Tort Multidistrict Litigation from Duke University School of Law, and she has been certified with FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses while maintaining Insurance Producer Licenses in North Carolina.

CPT Group, known for its comprehensive class action administration services, provides an array of offerings including notice distribution, claims management, call center support, data management, tax reporting, and distribution of funds. The firm has built a strong reputation based on its commitment to operational accuracy and innovation in technology, coupled with a dedication to forming deep client relationships. These attributes enable law firms and parties involved in legal proceedings to effectively administer complex matters with transparency and confidence.
