Key Features of RAD Studio 13.1

The latest release focuses on providing tools needed to successfully develop applications that meet the evolving requirements of the industry. One of the key features is the addition of the Arm64EC native compiler toolchain for Delphi. This new feature allows developers to build native applications that run efficiently on Arm Windows devices, including PCs powered by Arm processors and virtual machines on Arm Macs. With RAD Studio 13.1, developers can now create native binary files for Win32, Win64 Intel, and Win64 Arm using the same source code, which streamlines the application development process.

Android API Level 36 and iOS 26 Support

In response to upcoming industry requirements, RAD Studio 13.1 includes support for Android API Level 36 and iOS 26. Meeting Google Play Store's requirement for Android API Level 36 is essential for any application published after August 2026. The upgrade includes enhancements to the build system and platform jar files to ensure compatibility with current standards. Additionally, FireMonkey has received updates to incorporate JetPack Core library improvements, while iOS support has been extended to iOS 26.
