The AgriFuture Japan organization, chaired by Hiroki Agose and based in Minato, Tokyo, is excited to announce an online seminar series focused on exploring new possibilities in agribusiness. The events will feature speakers who are influential in the field and specialize in innovations and new business support.

First Seminar Details


The first session is scheduled for June 18, 2026. The keynote speaker will be Sung-Hee Hyun, CEO of Agnavi, known for promoting the distribution reform of traditional industries and connecting them to the global market through the introduction of the ICHI-GO-CAN® — a small-sized aluminum can for sake. Sung-Hee Hyun’s presentation will focus on the restructuring challenges faced by the sake industry, particularly why sake has struggled in global markets, and how innovative changes like the ICHI-GO-CAN® can offer new industrial models.

Attendees will also learn about AgriFuture Japan's "Innovator Training Academy" and its online school initiatives that aim to foster new value creation and address key challenges in agribusiness.

Speaker Profile


Sung-Hee Hyun


CEO of Agnavi and Visiting Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture. Originating from Gunma Prefecture, Sung-Hee completed his studies in agricultural chemistry at Tokyo University of Agriculture, where he earned his doctorate. He has previously worked on essential amino acids and research for nationally designated intractable diseases, and he founded Agripay during his student years. In 2020, he established Agnavi to promote the ICHI-GO-CAN®, partnering with over 160 breweries nationwide to extend domestic and international sales channels. His efforts include raising over 45 million yen through crowdfunding, contributing significantly to the structural transformation of the sake industry.
