SCO Group Hosts Innovative Multi-Sports Experience
The SCO Group, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has collaborated with Kashima Antlers FC and the Japan Triathlon Federation to host an innovative event named
SCOPE with KASHIMA ANTLERS. This exciting multi-sport experience blends soccer and triathlon, inviting children from grades one to six to participate in a day filled with sports, challenges, and fun.
Event Overview
Scheduled for January 12, 2026, at the Tsukuba Academy Center in Ibaraki Prefecture, the event aimed to instill in children the joy of moving their bodies, the thrill of taking on challenges, and the inspiration to discover their future potential. On this day, 27 young participants and their parents came together for an unforgettable experience.
Learning from Professionals
The event featured guest appearances from notable athletes, including
Takayuki Suzuki, a Kashima Antlers alumnus and member of Japan's 2002 FIFA World Cup team, alongside
Yuko Takahashi, a competitor in the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic triathlons. These accomplished athletes guided participants through soccer fundamentals and duathlon activities, which consist of cycling and running.
The children were able to learn directly from top athletes, experiencing firsthand the intricacies of soccer techniques and the dynamics of triathlon sports. By engaging in this unique multi-sport environment, participants actively worked on their physical fitness while having fun.
During the event, an original mini-game titled **
