Godzilla Card Game: Upcoming Releases and Developments

Bushiroad, a prominent publisher based in Nakano, Tokyo, has recently shared exciting news about the future of the Godzilla Card Game. On March 25, 2026, during the “Bushiroad TCG Strategy Presentation 2026 Spring,” they unveiled plans that are sure to delight fans and collectors alike.

The presentation included an update on the upcoming booster pack, Endless Wars, set to launch on April 25, 2026. This booster pack will feature a collection of 11 poster illustration cards, including designs from various anime works. Additionally, collectors can look forward to special parallel cards with sparkling and foil stamping effects. A unique treat comes from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (2002), which will include a live-action character card of Akane Kanzaki. Rare parallel versions signed by actress Yumi Yoshimura will also occasionally be inserted, making them prized items for any collector.

The launch of the Sleeve & Card Set: Kaiju Ink Painting Invasion is scheduled for July 4, 2026. This set includes 60 card sleeves along with six new cards, perfect for both gameplay and collectors' displays. 

Furthermore, in celebration of the upcoming movie Godzilla-0.0, set to premiere on November 3, 2026, there will be a starter deck and booster pack released. More information and specific release details will be provided closer to the date, so fans should stay tuned for exciting updates.

In a thrilling first for the Godzilla franchise, Bushiroad will also be hosting the first national tournament for the Godzilla Card Game. The finals will be livestreamed on Saturday, May 23, 2026, via the “Godzilla (Toho Special Effects) Channel” on YouTube. National qualifiers will take place in major cities like Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Osaka, creating fierce competition among players. Only 16 top contenders will make it to the finals, vying for championship glory.
