Musashino Art University Announces 2025 Graduation Exhibitions Across Two Campuses

Celebrating Creativity: 2025 Graduation Exhibitions at Musashino Art University

Musashino Art University, located in Kodaira City, Tokyo, is set to host its impressive 2025 Graduation and Completion Exhibition. This year, the event will take place over a period of two weeks at both of its campuses: Takadanobaba and Ichigaya. The Takadanobaba campus will exhibit from January 15 (Thursday) to January 18 (Sunday), while the Ichigaya campus will follow from January 30 (Friday) to February 1 (Sunday) in 2026.

A Showcase of Talents

Designed primarily by alumnus Hirokazu Matsuda from the Basic Design Department (class of 2007), the exhibitions will transform both campuses into expansive galleries. Spanning a total of over 1,200 works and research outputs from undergraduate and graduate students graduating in March 2026, this event is not to be missed. The diversity of the works is astonishing, including traditional Japanese paintings, oil paintings, animations, films, photography, sculptures, prints, textiles, installations, architectural models, and industrial design.

Particularly noteworthy is the Ichigaya campus exhibition which will feature student works and research outcomes from the newly established Creative Innovation Department, and the graduate school’s course focusing on Creative Leadership, which opened in 2019.
