On November 23rd, 2023, the Fujimi Civic Pool in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, is set to host an exciting swimming event: Dream Lesson - Swim Clinic with Former Japanese National Team Member Sayaka Akase. This free event promises an opportunity for participants of all ages to learn and refine their swimming techniques under the guidance of a professional athlete.

What is the Dream Lesson?

The Dream Lesson is specifically designed for both children and adults who want to enhance their swimming skills. Participants will receive direct coaching from Sayaka Akase, a former member of the Japanese swimming team known for her impressive achievements, including a gold medal in the women's 200m backstroke at the 2014 Asian Games. The lessons will focus on two main strokes: freestyle and backstroke.

- Part 1: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM (For high school students and older who can swim 25m)
- Part 2: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM (For middle school students and younger who can swim 25m)

Meet Sayaka Akase
