China to Commemorate 80th Anniversary of the Victory Against Japanese Aggression



In a significant cultural initiative, China will launch a special exhibition on July 7, 2025, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. This event will also celebrate the broader World Anti-Fascist War, shedding light on the crucial role China played in this historical context.

Curated by Luo Cunkang, the exhibition will take place at the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Beijing. Covering an impressive area of 12,200 square meters, it will showcase a rich collection consisting of 1,525 photographs and 3,237 artifacts. These items are carefully selected to highlight not only the sacrifices made by the Chinese people but also their pivotal contributions to the collective fight against fascism.

The exhibition aims to illustrate how China acted as a frontline in the Eastern theater during this global conflict, significantly assisting the Allied powers. By employing modern display techniques, organizers intend to provide an immersive experience for visitors, featuring historical documents, artwork, and multimedia presentations that bring to life the experiences of those who fought.

Among the attractions, a monumental photo wall will document key moments from the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Large-scale thematic videos will provide narrative depth, while installations will depict the military support that China extended to its Allied partners.
