As the warm summer days approach, The Capitol Hotel Tokyo in Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, is preparing a special culinary delight at the all-day dining restaurant, ORIGAMI. From June 1 to July 15, 2026, food lovers can indulge in the
'ORIGAMI Curry Selection', featuring seven exquisite varieties of curry, including a brand new dish that promises to tantalize taste buds.
The highlight of this year’s curry selection is the much-anticipated
Mangentot Pork Katsu Curry. This unique dish uses the highly praised Mangentot pork, known for its exceptionally low melting point, allowing the rich and tender fat to melt in the mouth. The careful preparation elevates the dish to a level of sophistication, offering a delightful experience without the heaviness often associated with katsu curry. Complemented by shredded ginger and a blend of spices with sautéed onions, the rich curry roux beautifully enhances the natural sweetness of the meat. Diners can enjoy the contrasting textures: the crispy katsu bursting with meat flavors harmonizing with the spicy curry.
In addition to the new creation, ORIGAMI's menu includes beloved classics such as

The traditional European-style curry served at ORIGAMI has been lovingly maintained since the days of the former Capitol Tokyu Hotel. The roux undergoes a careful three-day preparation process enriched with bananas and apples to add depth and sweetness.
