In November 2025, the esteemed Dr. Seiko Kato, the director of Azabu Beauty Clinic, showcased her expertise as a speaker at the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) Japan 2025. This prestigious international congress took place from November 8 to 9, at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo, bringing together leading medical professionals from around the globe to discuss the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments.

AMWC has a rich history of over 23 years and is renowned for being one of the largest global gatherings of professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine, with more than 12,000 experts and over 250 related companies in attendance every year. The event held its inaugural edition in Japan in 2022, inspired by the original congress in Monaco, and has since become a hallmark of knowledge exchange and innovation in the beauty and medical industries.

During this year’s event, Dr. Kato participated in the Medical Summit, a collaborative effort with Allergan Aesthetics, where she led two informative sessions:

1. “Exploring the World through Ultrasound: The Science of Injections and Complication Management”
2. “A Contemporary Look at Hyaluronic Acid Treatments: Establishing Safety and Diversity in Approaches”

In her presentations, she emphasized the importance of risk management associated with injection therapies, particularly in the context of enhancing the eye area’s appearance through combined use of Botulinum Toxin and Hyaluronic Acid. The sessions attracted significant interest from international attendees, indicating a positive reception, as many returned with questions and eagerness to delve deeper into the subjects she covered.
