The origin of the Uru Tora Sale can be traced back to when our founder and honorary chairman, Kozo Yanagishita, fervently supported the Hanshin Tigers, who won the championship for the first time in 18 years in 2023. Initially, many customers were puzzled as to why a fish shop in Niigata was holding such a sale, but as word spread about the event, crowds gathered on sale day, bringing a lively atmosphere to the store.

Today, Kakujo Fish is proudly recognized as a supporter of the Tigers, and we are thrilled to celebrate their championship together with our customers.
